Title: Mitral valve Surgery
Post by: dr 1 ace on May 07, 2020, 11:25:58 AM
Had open heart surgery for a mitral valve replacement on 4/27. Am home now and rewarded myself for surviving by just purchasing a late Halb Cl II…   Thanks to all my friends who sent e-mails.

Ed,
That doesn't sound like a lot of fun, but by the fact that you have posted and indicated that you are safely back home it sounds like good news! The Halbie is  a good move, take it slowly and best wishes for a complete and rapid recovery. Keep us all posted.
Cheers,
Lance

You'll be back to all your normal activities, including pickle ball, in no time.  Can't wait to see your next build.  That WNW Halberstadt, or a CSM Nieuport, perhaps?
Cheers,
Bud
