Saw these on the Fly website as "Coming Soon" Ansaldo SVA 10, SVA 9 and SVA 5 Floatplane in 1/48 scale.

Thanks for the heads-up, Mike!  Excellent news.  I'll have one of each, please.
Cheers,
Bud

 Mike,
Many thanks for the heads up my friend. Although I seldom build in 1/48 scale,I do want these three gems. Never can have too many Italian kites around.
Highest Regards,

Is this going to be the year of the Ansaldo, with Aviattic's 1/32 gem eagerly awaited and now these from Fly in 1/48 too? Thanks for alerting us to this Mike.

Best wishes
Nigel

That's a great piece of news! I will buy the SVA 9 to make the D'Annunzio plane that flew over Vienna (although 's often confused with the SVA 10).
That would make a great trio with the other two SVA 5 I already have in my showcase (one is the Fly kit)

It's so good to see more and more new 1:48 scale WW1 aircraft kits hitting the market.

the sva 9 and 10 were based on the "5" airframe with a second seat added right? want to say the 9 was a trainer and the 10 was and armed 2 a seat version. probably easy for then to keep the older sva 5 sprues and add an extra sprue with the new fuselage and a few knick knacks.

Not quite so, Albatros1234
The fuselage is differnt  and the  wings as well... if they do not take the easy way, they must rework it completely.
The SVA 5 internacional and the Idro are easier to obtain, but again they have to rework the fuselage and to add bits.
If I do remember right they have the new engine  cowl for the international already in the previous SVA.
Anyway the SVAs are good models, at least in the box, much better than the old very old SMER.
