My newest model - a 1/72 Albatros D.III depicting the Polish a/c captured in Warsaw on Nov 15th 1918, armed in March 1919 and adorned with unusual Polish cockades with German crosses left on the upper wing. In April 1919 attached to 8. Flying Squadron and sent to the eastern front.
The Roden kit was enhanced with:
- Part PE interior and exterior bits
- Eduard resin Mercedes engine
- Axial propeller carved from thin veneers
- losenge decals from Aviattic
- individual markings decals from Mr. Decal.

Congrats on a lovely piece of work all round :)

That came out great! Thanks for sharing!

I've been following this build in the Construction thread... It really did turn out amazing!
Incredible level of detail, especially for the scale. The cockpit interior (I'm sure it hurt to button it up with all the detail you took the time to create) looks fantastic! Really, the whole model turned out fantastic.
I'd also like to complement you on the photography, all those great details don't account for much if you can't show them off in the pictures. Yours turned out looking great, everything very clear and in focus.
Thanks for taking us on the journey from start to completion.
Take care
Scott...

Masterpiece!

Cracking model. Never fails to amaze me what some guys can achieve in 1/72. Beautiful.

Simply wonderful, well done!!

Prez -
Hard to believe this is the Roden kit - outstanding detailing resulting in a little stunner.

Yes to all of the above; all I can add is that this is modeling at its finest... mairëa.

Quite a superb model in this scale, Przemol.
-
Another work of art. Amazing!
-
Prez can you prove that that really is the eduard/Roden kit and not another WNW masquerading as a 1/72 scale model?
Words fail to describe my reaction to this model...... and the build log was not only informative but very well written and illustrated too. I enjoyed every moment reading it.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Stephen.

Definitely one of the very best models in 1/72 that I've seen here since becoming a member.
Absolutely superb!

Beautiful as always my friend! ;D

Probably the rear fuselage, wings and control surfaces betray the origin of the kit. ;)

Amazing work :)

Great work! Much better result then my old Albatros in this markings - but at my time we haven't the excellent Aviatik lozenge decals :P

Thanks, Ben and Jurek.

Not so much. Yours was actually an inspiration to my choice of the colour scheme - thank you! :)
-
That has got to be at least 1/32nd scale! Just amazing. Well done, Przemol! Lovely as usual.

WOW, very nice. Hard to believe it is 1/72 scale. I really like the wood fuselage.
Paul
-
Well it's not too bad I suppose ;)
You should think of taking up modeling as a hobby :D
I think you'd be pretty good at it ;D
This would be excellent in any scale, but in 1:72nd - 8)

Fantastic :)
Especially like the propeller, it’s very convincing.
-
A level of detail I can only hope to obtain… some day! Beautifully built Prze!
-
Thank you everyone for your kind comments.
-
This is an absolute, stunning little jewel Prze! I followed along on your build thread, and have saved it for advice and inspiration.
This is outstanding on many levels.

Thank you very much, Warren.

Regardless of Scale, SUPERB. as always!

Thank you very much, Ed.

Your small scale work is truly inspiring!
-
How did I miss commenting on this exceptional work? Prze, this I am absolutely the best 1/72 Albatros I have seen. Kudos to you!
-
I too somehow missed this, splendid model Prze, and particularly exceptional detail for the scale. I am amazed by the results you've achieved with the hand carved prop as well, the veneer must be paper thin in 1:72!
Cheers,
Lance

Thank you, Softscience, Tim and Lance, your kind words are highly appreciated!
-
Really - 1/72 scale? That's amazing work. Congrats on a very detailed, wonderful build, Prze.
