Great looking model, Dave. Really well done. "Savage without being garish" is the fine line I walk every morning when getting dressed... ;D

A very nice Nupe, Dave. With a fine dirty look, as mentioned in the text you quoted.
I would only like to ask, what scale and what producer is this kit?

Hello Dave:

Very Nicely done.  I enjoyed the article and photo of Mr. Chapman as well.  You certainly chose an interesting marking and your workmanship is outstanding.  Subtle weathering really make this stand out.

Best

Hi PrezmoL, sorry I did not type the information, it is the 1/48 scale Eduard Nieuport 11 Profipack kit.  I made resin foot troughs raised above the floor to hold the rudder bar, made an oil pulsator out of clear sprue, and the rigging was done with E-Z line and Bob's Buckles.  Decals are home made for the serial # and circle on the wheels, and the prop logo.  to finish it off I used a GasPatch Models Lewis Mk1 with exposed cooling fins, the only time I have seen one with these fins in 1/48 scale.

Hello Dave,

What a lovely plane and your build of it is fantastic. A nice and attractive scheme and extraordinary finish. Many congratulations.

Kind regards
