CSM Early and Late Nieuport XVII Dual Build
« on: December 03, 2018, 02:20:13 PM »
I brought these beauties home with me from Telford and couldn't decide which to build first, so I'm building them both together.

For the early version, I'll be doing Matton's aircraft.

And I'll be doing Nungesser's famous N1895 for my late version.

I chose this one to go with his Nieuport 25 that I built years ago.

Got a little paint on some of the bits.

These cockpits are very detailed, more so even than most of the WNW single seaters, so I don't anticipate a speedy build.  Then again, these are wonderfully engineered kits and they may go together more smoothly than I expect.  We'll see.  I can see already that these are two of the finest kits I've ever laid eyes on.
Cheers,
Bud

Yay! I have the late version so am very much looking forward to seeing this log unfold. You are a pioneer for all here who have bought these kits. And they are sure in good hands.

Cheers
