I did a jet. I do apologise. I can't explain it. Normal service will resume shortly.

That's an absolute stunner, congratulations, and don't worry, you're in good company.I'm currently working on 2 WNW Pups but also a 109 and kubelwagen liberated by 3 Sqdn of the Australian Desert Air Force  in their converted liveries.A bit of variety on the workbench helps keep me motivated.

What a magnificent looking Meteor Dave, you have done a superb job with the build and the painting is spectacular, did you come across any issues while building this kit.

It's a great kit Des. No real issues other than the trailing edges on all the control surfaces have a gap, so one must scrape away a bit of the inside thickness. The only other handy trick was to fit the upper wings to fuselage and then add the lower wing. No gaps!

Guns are drawing up needles . Finish is alclad  new high speed silver, post shaded with their alclad smoke which is a bluey black tint.
I used a spare tamiya spitfire seat as the kit one is basic and the pitot is a profimodeller brass one.

Beautiful work! I have the kit and Decals and actually intend to start this year! You have inspired me and made me hesitant at the same time as I can only hope to equal your work  8)

I like the Meteor of your's a lot - apart from one tiny niggle: there seems to be no pilot in it?

Err well, it wasn't originally going to be wheels up!
I snapped one of the brassin wheels so went for flight mode.....
