Been a while
« on: July 15, 2014, 10:53:10 PM »
Hello again!

Not done anything since I finished the Dr.I (see my avatar)...and that was three years ago! How time flies :-[

Actually, it's the only WWI model I finished in modern history.
But...I still have my rediculous stash of 1/48 planes and Pheon decals, so I better get my act together and start something.

I think the rigging put me down, but I stumbled upon the Ushi rigging wire, so there's hope for idiots like me.

Cheers!

Robin

Glad to see you are still with us Robin.  As for the rigging, the best way
is by doing. Pick a aeroplane with a moderate, fairly simple rigging set-up
such as a Nieuport 17 and go to it.  Nothing to it! :D  If you run into problems,
there are many modellers here that work in 1/48 scale to help.  Enjoy!

Cheers,

Robin!  I've been wondering what happened to you!  You seemed to have simply fallen off the face of the earth.  So glad to see you back, buddy!
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks gents!

Been out of the loop completely, something like a belated mid life crisis or burn out hit me.
Still a poor excuse and I do feel guilty about leaving without a word. My sincere apologies. :(
