That looks like it's going to be a very nice kit, especially considering that these images are of a test shot. It will be interesting to see what the markings options are as well!

With Alleycat already offering this kit in 1/32 resin, I'm not at all sure of the utility of making this particular plane available again in the same scale, with so many other alternatives available?

Probably going to be a lot cheaper!

I'll be buying the MPM injection - too much for the Alleycat resin.

Cheers,

I built the Alley Cat resin kit when it was first releases and I have to admit, it is a great kit, but a lot of modelers don't like working with resin (this was my first) and the price of a resin kit is usually pretty high, so there will be a market for this new injection kit. Price will be a major factor but I'm sure that it will prove popular, I will be getting one to do a comparison with the resin kit.

My nose won't survive another resin onslaught. I'll buy this kit. Oh yes.

I agree with your assessment of the Injection vs Resin Market. We aren't all blessed with a deep wallet and extraordinary skills!

Not everyone builds resin.  In fact, most people do not.  The release seems like a good idea from here.

I've built a few resin kits over the years and still prefer injection-molded kits. Resin dust is bad stuff and I don't care for the hassle of wearing a mask while sanding. Also, large resin parts can exhibit some pretty odd aging characteristics.  I had a 1/32nd Rutman Fw-190 that was well cared for along with all of my other models and after awhile it began to wilt like a neglected house plant.

Well got to say she looks rather nicely done.

I think this one will tempt me once it comes out.

Thanks for the update Dave. If it hits the mark in terms of overall accuracy this is another one that will hard to resist buying.

Best wishes
Nigel

I'm in a minority of one!!

Maybe because I've done probably more resin kits than plastic?
