Got a couple of things in. A conversion for my WNW SE5a to make McCudden's bird and a figure of him, and an Encore Albatros D.II.

James,
Schlacht-Flieger is a great book, I wish I had gotten mine signed by Dan-San when I had the chance. I would like to know more about the SE5a book though. Great haul on kits too.

Steven, you bad thing you with those spoked wheels, get outta here!  ;) ;)

The Mount of Aces is soft cover 160 pages. Starts with ancestry through production, squadron use, foreign users, problems, and after the war. A fair number of pictures including the frame and engine and then in use. I haven't read it yet to be able to say more. I got mine on ebay but the publisher is Fonthill Media. Its available in ereader formats as well. ISBN is 978-1-78155-288-9. Hope that is of some help.

My latest is a new tool  :)

Pick this up at a second store and figured this would be prefect for me . No way will I be able to burn myself or the house down .
No manual was included so will have to look online to see how to use this . I remember seeing this advertise on TV many moons ago .

The solder has a rosin core so no need for flux right ?

Terri, the rosin core is actually for that last moment part of the soldering job. Flux should still be used for best results. Just dont use Plumbers solder or flux as it is acid based and will continue to eat away at the metal. I got some really nice low temp solder and flux from digikey and a soldering iron like yours. Works great. Hope that may be of some use to you.
