Aye-up then ...........

Latest to arrive from shores afar!

Just spending a pleasant few minutes organising them on the shelf. I thought I might try and take advantage of a good exchange rate??? Worked out the same for me - although PayPal did pretty well out it!!

Not to worry ... I'm still a very happy bunny.

Well done Eric, I still believe, in my opinion, that this is the best kit that Wingnuts have ever produced.

Which beach would that be?

The Big Lake they call Gitchigumee ;)

Great choice Bo! Take along a CD or your ITunes version of Lightfoot's "Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald" to savour with your favorite libation in the quiet of the evenings. American or Canadian side??
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks!   I know...that's one of the main reasons I took a closer look at the kit and decided to get one.  :)

we have a place in the U.P.  I guess that's still America. ;)

The Fitzgerald lies not too far from our place... (30 or 40 miles I guess as the crow flies)

Not all lying around on the beach tho, got a kitchen to build...

Just remember, "all work and no play" makes Bo etc etc. Be careful with the full scale tools, they bite on a larger scale!
Cheers,
Lance

My latest Orders from across the Pond...........
From Aviattic, a "Peach Basket" resin seat and cushion for the Ni 28 presently underway. Also more Merc primer Cups and a cowling for the future EIII. Richard kindly tossed in a resin cowling for the Ni 28 as well (not yet generally available). Thank You Kind Sir, it will be used on this build!!

Beautiful work on this little beauty, Ron. I am totally impressed with the quality of the Resin line from Aviattic.

...........and from Nordland an assortment of lovely little goodies. More belts for the on coming DVII's, some smaller scale Gas Patch Turnbuckles to try, Merc engine bits from Taurus and some incredibly impressive Lewis Guns from GasPatch as well.

and here's a close up of the GP Lewis Gun, simply mind blowing in detail!

Needless to say, I was like a kid in an unattended Candy Factory last night! What an incredible selection we have for our Hobby compared to just 5 years ago.
Cheers,
Lance
