Fokker Dr.I Jasta 14 Lt. Jozef Schulte.
« on: September 24, 2023, 04:37:55 AM »
Today i finnished my Meng 1/32 scale Fokker Dr.I of Jasta 14, flown by Lt. d.r. Jozef Schulte.

Base and groundwork is a old base and figure borrowed from another model. :)
I used Aviattic decals, Master barrels and colling jackets, GasPatch turnbuckles and Ushi, EZ rigging.

Hope you like it

Regards

Danny

Congratulations on a beautiful job, Danny! I was unaware of those elongated "eyes" until I read about them on the Aviattic site, and it's good to see what they look like on the model. I've been putting off getting one of these kits, but after seeing yours I may have to see whether I can still find one...

No, I don’t like it….  I love it!   Great effects you have achieved with the decals. They really look to be painted on.  I like the cowling as well.  I’m going to have to try and modify my 1/28 Revell build which is also a Jasta 14 aircraft.

Thank's Ed. The base and figure are from a previous WW.1 project, just for the photo's. Figure is from Kellerkind iff i'm not wrong and it isn't quit appropiriate to pose in front of the Dr.I because he weares a winter weastcoat. I'm searching for the right figure at the moment and will make a new base for the Dr.I.

Regards

Danny

That does look good, especially the Fokker stripes and the individula markings.

I have been away far too long.  In just a week I have such beautiful models and this one did not disappoint.  Excellent work.
