The final gallery of my vision of Halberstadt Cl.II, the aircraft captured at Poznań-Ławica by insurgents in Jan 1919, assembled, modified and given the Polish number 201/18. It later served with 3 Great Poland Squadron (Esk Wlkp) in the war against Soviets. Unfortunately during the strafing raid on May 14th 1920 shot down in flames by a Russian Ni24bis, the crew Władysław Bartkowiak and Józef Klicze losing their lives...
WNW kit was modified and amended:
- Taurus resin bits for Mercedes engine
- electric wires, throttle linkage, custom exhaust, front water pipe - scratch
- HGW textile seatbelts
- spokes from Gaspatch set combined with tyres from the kit elements
- propeller carved from Kotebi veneers
- Gaspatch type C turnbuckles 48th and 32nd scale
- Aviattic losenge decals
- individual markings - decals and masks custom made by Mr. Decal.
Please, enjoy.

Beautiful job on your model, Prze. As I’d mentioned previously this build is really inspiring as to how well this kit looks put together by a skilled craftsman as you are. Well done, indeed.

What I really like about your models is that you take well known subjects and present them in (for me at least) totally new Polish markings. That makes them all the more interesting.
As others have already commented, this is another masterpiece from you - superb detail and finish. Many congratulations.
Stephen.

Another beautiful model from your magic bench. Even if beautiful is indeed your standard, this has yet something more, maybe the woodgrain or the wheels I can't say but hats off!

Very nice work, Przemol. Your natural wood finishes look like the real thing. The Halberstadt Cl.II is a cool looking aircraft and you have done it justice with this model.
