Fabulous job on the interior, Pustota!  I have this kit in my stash and have been anxious to get started on it.  Thanks for doing all the research and leading the way!  ;)  I will be following very closely.
Cheers,
Bud

Hi Pustota
I too have this in my kit so it is great to see someone starting one. I like the work you have done on the interior.

Wow, Pustota!  If that is indeed the kit engine, then you are a wizard!  Spectacular transformation!
Cheers,
Bud

I foolishly let your post cross my last one.
That surely cannot be the kit engine, please tell me that is not the kit engine.

This motor from the kit, it took me half day to build it. Unfortunately (or not) i didn't find Hiero engine in 1/48 scale on market, so i made it from the kit's ''remnant''.
Thank you.

the only kits to have hiero engine is special hobby phonix d.1 and d.ii as well as blue max phonix d.1. years back a made a resin copy of the blue max engine for reasons such as these but you did a wonderfully surprizing work on the kit parts which look sort of like white chewed bubble gum before you got on it. i would have guessed you scratch built this. your interior looks great too. i have this kit myself. unfortunately it does not mach too well the historical drawings. from a distance it does look ufagish.?.? lol..that is when i have seen others build it.

Beautiful work on the engine! I would not have guessed it was from the kit.
