Gigrorovich M.5

Here is a kit that languished on my shelf for over 20 years that I built 2 years ago.  Reference material was skimpy at best but here is what I used:  WS Vol 7 No. 4 pages 13-15 and WS 24 Vol 2 pages 20, 21.  I have no idea where I acquired this kit; maybe someone snuck it into my stash making me think I purchased it.  I plead innocent to all charges  but here it is anyway.

I did buy this kit although it's hard to describe without using rude words!

One has to make two piles, those parts to be modified extensively and those to be replaced!

The name of the manufacturer might be "Termite Search", that is written in the upper right of the box.

I have that kit as well.  It is one of the crudest injection molded kits I have seen.  But the only one of the M.5 that I know of. 
Nice work on that all but impossible kit!

Sierra Scale used to do a 1/48 Grigorovitch vacform which looked a nice kit - but I never got round to building mine before selling up my 48 scale stuff.
