Title: New WW1 kit release news from Roden
Post by: Dave W on August 23, 2022, 09:23:41 AM
Exclusive for the members of our Forum, Roden have announced release dates for their next 1/32 scale WW1 model kit releases.

Roden President Vladimir Chumak has advised that the Spad XIII Late kit is due for release in the middle of October!

The Sopwith Strutter is now in the manufacturing stage and Vladimir hopes it will be released in December.

And work is well advanced on designing the 1/32 Avro 504 as well with a February 2023 release in mind.

Considering what the people of the Ukraine have endured this year, this is an amazing recovery for a model company in the midst of a war zone.

So mark your calendars folks and support Roden and the other Ukrainian model companies because they are supporting us.

That's great news.
Wonder what the collective noun for a lot of Strutters is?  Probably a squadron.
I'll need a two seater (Collishaw's), a single seater bomber,  a comic night fighter,  at least one French one....

This is very good news!

I have the utmost admiration for Mr. Chumak and the people around him. To be able to pull this off in a warzone, shows once more how strong and resilient the Ukrainian people are!

Yes!  I can't wait for the late Spad!  I'll be buying a stack of those and at least 4 of the Sopwith 1 1/2 strutters plus a couple of 504s.  This is excellent news!
