RAF FE2b Aeroclub 1/48 "Zanzibar"
« on: December 06, 2015, 06:56:16 AM »
Hello,
Not the easiest one I must admit. There even was a time when I was considering to put it into a closet unfinished.
Now I`m glad that thanks to OEFFAG 153, who sold me the model I was able to build it. I fell in love with this plane in the meantime...

Best regards
Filip

You have done a brilliant job with this model Filip, it could easily be mistaken for a larger scale with the amount of detail you have gone to. The rigging has turned out excellent and the colours you used are superb, very well done.

Utterly magnificent, Filip!  In any scale, this would be considered a masterpiece, but in 1/72 scale...well, I have no words.  I love it.
Cheers,
Bud

I'm very glad you didn't put it away. It's a joy to behold and the rigging is  a real labour of love. Well done.

having rigged one of these in 1/72 scale I know something of what you have been through. I am delighted that the closet has lost out (hope it is not too upset) - that is a simply superb model and as has been commented, a winner and no mistake.

I fell in love with tis machine when I was a teenager - just had to wait about 40+ years before I got my model of one!
