Thanks to Dean and Des for these Hisso photos. There aren't many good photos available online so these are very useful. Unfortunately some of the detail has been lost due to overcompression of the jpeg images (50%, 80% of original would have been better). I have taken the liberty of adjusting the lighting to bring out the shadows in the attached versions. No disrespect intended.

No disrespect taken James, you know a lot more about photography than what I do so any help is greatly appreciated.

Just noticed the Wright logo on the prop boss on the photos I took in AZ. ;D That would make the motor a Wright-Hispano, probably an "E," which was the license built copy of the 150 hp Hispano-Suiza HS-8Aa.

Good pick-up Bo, your keen eyes are working well.

Des,Bo and James,
Thanks guys for these timely and beautiful photos. Would any of you by chance have quality photos of a seven cylinder Le Rhone 80 hp both the prop side and rear views? This is the type of engine I plan on installing on my Voisin Canard.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette
