WnW Fe.2b, 6341 "Zanzibar #1",
« on: January 25, 2016, 01:32:20 AM »
Hello fellow modellers,

this project is finished. I had immense fun building it and I can strongly reccomen this kit to anyoine that is not afraid of a bit more rigging than usually :) I used Gaspatch guns and turnbucles, Modelkasten rigging line 0,15mm, Tamiya and Gunze paints and primers, Alclad II for the metal parts, HGW interior and exterior sets and carved mu own propeller.
I also bought the HGW stealbelts, but they are like waaay smaller than the WnW PE ones, actually they looked like 1/48 not 1/32 aso I didin't used them. I chemically blackemed as much of the PE as I could, replaced some parts, lose, found or scratches some more.
As final words I should say, that while this kit is a bit more complicated, it is as buildable as any of the other WnW kits I already built :)

ANy comments, recomendations, questions, tips, tricks or constructive criticism are most welcome!

Here are the final pics:

Best regards,
Sasho

Congratulations Sasho. That's one stunning result after a truly great build - bet you are well pleased with such a fine looking addition to your hangar.  Well done indeed.

That is a gorgeous looking model Sasho, you did a superb job with the build, painting and finally the awesome rigging, I especially love the wood colours you achieved inside the cockpit, brilliant.

Magnificent Model Sasho! Being at the beginning of the same Build (but the late version) I can really appreciate the beauty of your work on this one, and coincidentally get a lot of good hints from it. The finish, rigging, and weathering are top notch and the carved prop also something I can truly admire from experience, no easy task. This is a grand inspiration for me, I hope mine turns out at least half as good as this beauty.......well done!
Cheers,
Lance

One of the loveliest Fees I've ever seen, Sasho!  Congratulations on the completion of another superb model, my friend.

I really like the Fee - this model is truly superb. It catches the imagination in every way possible and renders the old type the respect that it properly deserves. Wonderful model.

Hi Guys,

a small update - finally I made a small base for the model, got figures from wing cockpit figures and enlisted into a model show last weekend. I got the first place in teh 1/32 aircraft :) Here are two pictures from the show as I haven't been able to make pictures myself yet.

I am thinking of replacing the black pilon with a clear one, but still can't think what to use for it. Not in a hurry now as I am completely happy with it being this way, still there is room for improvement!
