hey so ive been looking at the Roden 1/32 albatros D.iii and was wondering if there is any way to convert the covered propeller version to something like this with the uncovered propeller

Yes, you could convert to that, but it is an Austrian OEFFAG built D.III which used a different Austro Daimler power plant and had a few other dissimilarities, such as Schwarzlose machine guns.
Plans for an OEFFAG D.III are available from various sources e.g. the Windsock Datafile, where you could find all the details.
