How to paint cuir seats

Hello,

Continue working on my 1/48 Eduard Albatros, I'm looking for a tutorial on how to finish the cuir seats so they not look toyish painted in just one plain color.

Any suggestions?

Hi!
I believe it was on this forum that someone used a light beige acrylic color, over which he used some Mig or AK Brown wash, then used something else on top which intracted with the whole that was not completly dry, giving it a great cracked leather look.
If only that person could jump in to remind us the exact process...
