Eduard 1/48 SE.5a
« on: August 14, 2017, 07:36:08 AM »
It's official...this one is done!  A very enjoyable build, Eduard has raised the bar on 1/48 WWI aircraft much as Wingnut Wings has done in 1/32.  Highly recommended to any with a fondness for such subjects.  This was built for an Airfix Model World article so I'll let you all know in which issue it will appear.

Cheers,
Eric

Beautiful job, Eric. It's detail looks more like a larger scale, and your paint work is exceptional. Nice work start to finish!
Cheers,

An outstanding result that beautifully captures the elegance of the SE5a ( my favourite WW1 aircraft).

Superb work on the rigging too!

This is a nice one! Great to see you, 1/48-builders having good kits to enjoy, too!  ;)
