Halberstadt CL.IIa (BFW) 1/48 Mirage Hobby
« on: August 04, 2017, 07:41:23 PM »
Halberstadt CL.IIa  2875/18
2Reconnaissance Polish Aviation Squadron.
Model very difficult, nothing fits, much need to be processed by yourself.
I recommend ambitious modelers, who from a piece of plastic want to make a good model, I did not succeed  :-[
I invite you to the gallery.
Regards.
Jacek

Agree with Dave 100%, your "unsuccessful" model looks outstanding.  Congrats.   :D

Model very difficult, nothing fits,
Oops! Thanks for the warning, since I have a kit variant too.

Anyway, your model looks great, you made a nice result out of that kit!

Cheers,
Frank

There's no lack of success evident here, Jacek. I believe you have done an exceptional job on a very difficult Kit, nice work all round a a real tribute to your skills! 8) 8) 8)

Oh, my friend, you certainly did succeed in making a great model.  I built an earlier release a while back and thoroughly enjoyed it, but you're right.  It is not an easy model.  I love your rendition, especially your cdl.
Cheers,
Bud

Beautiful work!  The CDL looks perfect as well as the wood technique on the fuselage.  Thanks for sharing.

I love this forum.  Modelers say that their build did not come out good, and I'm hoping I can do a build on a much easier kit that just comes close to the quality of their build.  Excellent job on your model.

It looks like a quite successful achievement for one who "did not succeed"  ;)
Great model, Jacek. I am looking forward to see it in real!

Looks STUNNING to me! I enjoyed your build and your results are Fantastic inspite of the poor fit and your perception!
