Hello from England!
« on: June 21, 2017, 04:50:05 PM »
Good morning!

I have always been interested in aircraft, but my first love was fast jets. My interest in WWI aircraft was generated by a recent sunset photo shoot at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome in Essex. I was particularly taken by the beautiful Snipe, constructed by The Vintage Aviator Limited in New Zealand, so decided to look at the available kits and was delighted to find that Wingnut Wings produced a late Snipe with one of the decal options matching the machine at Stow Maries. I now own my first Wingnut kit!

I attach some of my pictures that started it all. ;)

I look forward to participating in the forum.

Welcome to the greatest of Forums AD 210, that TVAL Snipe is indeed inspiring! Beautiful photos as well. Enjoy the WNW Kit, it's a very nicely engineered one and a real pleasure to build. Looking  forward to your contributions.
Cheers,
Lance

Be warmely welcomed here, these are very atmospheric photos you've posted here. I am sure you won't regret your path down from modern jets to WWI aviation.

Oh, ahem, yes, maybe you didn't know yet that you have to sign a contract with your own blood to build biplanes from now on, and only biplanes alone  ;)
