Just found this one, I hope there's room at the back for one more! A nice start, those interior lozenge decals are certainly a big help. I've never heard of the lozenge seat though, was that peculiar to this aircraft?

I too am just catching up with this Lance. A great start, especially the floor and other cockpit details - as usual your usual attention to tiny detail is showing through. An interesting choice of subject too.

Stephen.

Thanks for looking and for your kind comments, Gents. Ian, the surviving original being rebuilt, I believe in Holland, had a seat covered in 5 colour lozenge fabric so I added it. Fiddly work is one of my weaknesses, and this one didn't disappoint! ;)
Cheers,
Lance

Very nice start, Lance! I'll follow as usual  :)
Could these pics be of any help:

Thanks Borsos!
The photos are new for me, and very helpful. I particularly like the details showing the gun belt feed and exit chutes and the leather combing on the wing cut out. I also was not aware that this one was on loan to TVAL, don't know how I missed that. Great stuff! No map case either; I noticed a wood backing plate in the usual position in photos on pages 31&32 of the Data File of the restoration in Rovereto, Italy. (not Holland as I thought) I think it is the same airframe.
Cheers,
Lance

I think both the Razors at TVAL are from Achim and his team, ditto the one flying in Australia with a Le Rhone.

 Lance,
As I've always realized you're on OUTSTANDINGLY Talented / Skilled Modeler my old friend. I've been wondering if anyone building the E.V / D.VIII would texture the wing? I hope you'll take a shot at it. Keep up the high excellence!
Highest Regards,

Rick, Thanks for the comment, that was the easy part!
Kiwi Zac, Achim and his Team do really outstanding work, and so much to preserve the history of these beautiful machines!
Greg, Thank you for the wonderful endorsement!  The thought of the texturing has indeed crossed my mind but, for now, the basics of this Kit are a huge enough challenge!! I'm secretly hoping that Wingnut Wings release the subject and I get a second crack at her! As Rick has hinted and I'll attest to, this is not a real "user friendly" Kit!
Cheers,
Lance

Yes, they are as far as I know.
Sad to hear of the drawbacks of the kit. But I am sure you and Rick will master them.

Thanks Andreus and Mike. This will now go on hold for 3-4 days as I depart for the Western Canadian Regional Model Show and Contest early tomorrow morning. This year it's held in Nanton, a small town in Southern Alberta that is home to the Canadian Bomber Command Memorial and Museum. As in past years the plan is to fire up all four Merlins on their resident Lancaster, always a thrilling sight and sound experience! As it's, at minimum, a 7 hour drive I'll be arriving the night prior to the Show which opens at 9AM Saturday morning.
Cheers,
Lance
