Fokker D.VI// Eduard//1:48//AD 1995

Hello,

As promised started new old kit, rough plastic sprues and nice PE attached. Manufactured in 1995.
Now I am focused on the cockpit interior, which is a mixture of Dr.1 and D.VII/VIII, but main resemblance goes from the latter ones..
As I got inbox pics on the other hand forgot to do pics before fuselage closure Ones can barely see the interior lozenge and modified compass & magneto (oversized resin part from Eduard)









BTW the kit is rough. Adjusting the crate into the fuselage half requires some pre-work in finding fixed position

Cool , I actually have this kit with a Dragons Fokker Dr.1 fuselage so I will be following this one . Nice start on the pit

I have left fuselage for a while and get the wings parts on the desk. All of them were cut off sprues, sanded and brushed with primer. As decided to use Aviattic decals, used some pigments to express some depth and more 3D turnout. Last step was implementation of varnish layer.

That's a very rare bird. Going by Scale Mates it was a one off with no follow up.

Hi,
Fuselage is done as well. Had do add bottom’s panels as not provided by the kit
All was sanded, primed and varnished.







Waiting for decals I decided to make up my first, wood carved prop. Axial was shaped and sanded just before the paint implementation
