Port side interior done. Also the top of the front fuselage had the MGs attached and seat painted.

One thing that is not mentioned at all in the instructions is the fitting of the an /oil gauge on top between the MGs although it is shown in a later diagram, The seat also is not drilled so that had to be dealt with and it hasn't gone too well but won't be too obvious once the seat has been fitted and belts added.

Thanks chaps. Away for a few days in Devon and Cornwall sampling the local delights  :o
In the meantime here's an update. Fitted the gauge between the MGs

Hopefully got a close match with UK intermediate blue by Vallejo

Fitted the controls. Not as difficult as I thought  although one of the levers was broken and had to be reglued. Couldn't quite get it straight but it won't show..I hope

Back from the west of England and now have finished painting the fuselage halves.

I have measured and marked for the ribbing on the top wing. I used 1mm masking tape and have varnished and applied a white primer on top. I will secure with coats of gloss varnish. I will do the same on the top of the other surfaces but as this is such a labour intensive job and I do have other things in my life I doubt I'll do the ribbing on the undersides.

Next will be the very tricky cutting and measuring of the lozenge decals. Measure ten time and cut once I think is the way forward here.

Picked up this kit Saturday at the Model Cave in Ypsilanti Michigan.
Aviattic and Pheon decals are on order. Now I'll sit back and learn from your travails.
I really like how your prop turned out

Had a break for a few days and now back on it with the fuselage closed up and most of the interior of the cockpit completed.

Off on a WW1 battlefield tour at the end of this week so not much will happen until the end of next week.
