WNWs Ship's Camel
« on: April 28, 2017, 09:59:34 PM »
Time for another build along  ;)

Wingnut's Ship's Camel:

I was inspired by this photo of a Camel of HMS Calliope:

Not the whole scene! Perhaps just the platform to give an impression of the rest. I don't usually do dioramas - but thought this could be simple but effective base...

I've made a start on the Bentley and I've got in a Tommy's War figure (TW32010) - again, figure painting certainly isn't my forte but I'll give it a bash...

Thanks for looking in.

Guy,
A Ship's Camel on a platform base is on my fantasy list; I'll be very attentive to your project!

Thanks for the interest.

Finished the interior and just closed the fuselage. Another super kit from Wingnuts. Having recently made the Brisfit, it seems a nice simple build!

I've used another Barracuda wicker seat, but stuck with the kit seat belts.

Thanks
