If this is by any chance a repop of the Avis kit, it's not a bad start. Speculation on my part, but hopefully we'll see some sprue shots soon.
Going by this it looks to be a brand new run.

Remember this one guys, it is the Avis kit that I built way back in 2011.
Here is a full build log of the model;  http://www.ww1aircraftmodels.com/page21.html

Has anyone seen the PE bits? I'm thinking MG jackets, and a seat belt.

Those are absolutely avis sprues. And $30 is not a baf price at all. A couple years back there was a guy selling them for $26 on ebay and i snapped one up. I never understood the reason for the high initial pricing of this kit and i originally got the 1st one i bought from mrkit usa aka ole mike taylor for very reasonable. Would never have paid the $89.99 orig list price the kit is/was too crude albeit it did build up into a decent model using doug baumanns 4 color lozenge. Wonder  what happened to those guys.

And thanks to the efforts of Dan-San Abbott (RIP), Ronny Bar, and others, we won't be left painting the wing solid green ;)

Even so an august source as Windsock Datafile 25 lists the paint schedule with listed colors Mocha Brown/Azure Blue/Violet/True Green as "Possibly mixed together to achieve the factory dark olive.. ." I'd always wondered why one would go to the trouble to mix so many colors, when "olive" is so easily achieved using black & yellow.

Speaking of which, will we now see a run on copies of Datafile 25????

Got mine! Still with the 8.95 sticker on it. After reading the color notes, I wondered about the color mixing as well.
The PE has MG jackets, ends w/ ring sights, belts, and some sort of gun/cowling piece. I'm hoping this will spark some lozenge sets as well.

Cmon lozenge sets. Have we become that spoiled where every kit has to have cookie cutter decals? Maybe im a glutton for punishment but i think it looks more authentic qhen you put it on bolt by bolt and stick separate rib tape decals which sit that fraction proud of the wing like a real rib tape. Sorry i have this conspiracy theory that making things too easy causes loss of my skill. Plus i think its fun to do it the old fashioned way. I know im an idiot .

Just had notification that mines been dispatched  :) Datafile already bought - at this rate this could prove a distraction from my current distraction if you see what I mean   :-\

Shared with the Vickers Gunbus I do have a soft spot for this aircraft for some reason - just the catalyst required to get back on stream I think - can't wait!
