Would be nice to have one of these (hopefully WNW will do one too).   :D

I can only hope it comes true, though, I'd prefer the Wingnut Wings treatment for this aircraft.

If this is by any chance a repop of the Avis kit, it's not a bad start. Speculation on my part, but hopefully we'll see some sprue shots soon.

These are great news!

Yes the Avis kit is a good start, if this is a re pop, I would go for another EV!

Seems it will be a re-pop of the Avis kit, but with completely redesigned wing, new decals plus photo-etch.

Interesting! A redesigned wing? I'm curious to see the difference. PE bits are a nice addition, and new decals as well? Sounds promising.

We'll see  ???
I've been after a D.VIII for quite awhile and eventually (and at some expense) managed to obtain both the Battle Axe kit and the Falcon (Vac kit).
Typically it seems the Avis kit, deemed to be the best of the three only manufactured 1:32 scale kits, is to re-vamped and released.
Unless Wingnut Wings comes up with this aircraft, I guess I'll be looking to purchase yet another D.VIII!!!

I agree. Perhaps the re-designed wing will be textured or maybe just better overall molding. As for the PE, very welcomed for certain parts. Hopefully the new decals will include the Jasta 6 Tulip Petal cowl markings and some of the better Jasta 6 Personal Markings...One can only hope!

MikroMir are a company from Ukraine that produces injection plastic kits, I know them mainly from their submarine kits.  Don't expect Wingnuts quality, they are very much a typical short run injection plastic producer, the kits I have are a good starting point, but lack a little finesse.

Who would expect WnW quality from any source other than WnW????
I recently unloaded 2 Battle Axe E.V/D.VIII's at a tidy profit, so I'll be after the Micro-Mir version, if only to compare it to the Avis versions I still have. Perhaps with more buildable kits out there, it might be incentive for aftermarket decal manufacturers (Pheon!) produce quality decals. . .
Here's Hoping!!

Does anyone have further info on this one? In particular where to order, is it available now?

The reply on their Facebook page for release is within 2 - 3 weeks, making it by the end of April.
