Ship's Camel on towed lighter
« on: February 22, 2017, 11:02:15 PM »
I found an article about the Ship's Camel launched from a Lighter that put an end to the Zeppelin threat. I neglected to save the link and now I'm having trouble finding it. Any help would be appreciated.

I recv'd a Ship's Camel for my b-day today  ;D

edit: Found it!

It kind of begs to be a diorama...

Thanks Daryl for the link, a very interesting story and as you say, it would be a good diorama candidate.

If i remember well, there was a detailed 3 view plan of the lighter in an old issue of Cross and Cockades ( in the mid '90s)
Enough to make a model
