Looking absolutely great Rick. My Mikr Mir Kit just arrived however I think I'll delay starting it pending availability of the Pheon Decals. I've ordered the Wingnut Wings UR.II Sprue to replace the Kit engine and have Gaspatch Guns and HGW D.VII belts on hand for it. I'll be referring to your Build Log here once I get going on it. Your staining BTW is exceptionally well done.
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks, although the tail stripes as applied need some touch up! Debating if I will fix them myself or wait on Pheons decals  ::)

Thanks for looking in and the comments Lance! I figured I would continue as started at least until I reach the personal marking point. Honestly I think I can finish this one and just add the black white petals to the cowl, and the personal markings when Pheon releases their decals.  I also have some Gaspatch MGs to use on this one. I probably will order that WNW sprue myself... times about 3.  ;D

Great work. Looking forward for the next steps.

Hi Rick,

Model looks gorgeous. Decal design almost done and will be sent to print by Saturday. My hospital stay was extended a bit due to a post-operation infection, which gave me a nasty dose of Toxic Shock Syndrome - that nearly ended decal production for good! Well on the mend now and the Camels arrived this afternoon, so after the EV they'll be next. Will post details of all E.V options in the next day or two. Will release two sets to get the most coverage and keep prices sensible. Five options for Jasta 6 on one set with a couple of others and the other set will have another six options - I think you will be happy with the selections!

Thanks for comment and the update Rowan, and I am sure I will be more than pleased. Who knows there could be a WNW version someday in addition to the Mikro Mir and Avis kit  8)

Rowan,
That's a nasty development, happily you are past it now! Your update on the E.V / D.VIII Set is most welcome news, I look forward to the details.
Take your time with the recovery process, none of us are as young and spry as we think!
Cheers,

A small update: I have been working on the Engine. From a Roden DR1 but pretty much Identical to the kit.
