I have made some progress. Just some touch up and adding all of the control wires and the interior is done. I have weathered the inside heavily. Reading and looking at photos shows that these aircraft leaked OIL down the inside and soaked through to the outside, pretty much even with a limited number of flights.

What a very nice interior, Rick! The reversed Tarnstoff decals look awesome as does the rest!

Jaun, Guy, and Andreas,
Thanks for looking in and the comments! The fuselage is now closed up. Next up filling and sanding the undersurface seams.

Wow, Rick! The Fuselage looks great. I like the used look and the shine through lozegne.

Thanks Manni! The real test will be how I handle the oil soaking through on the outside. Should be fairly easy with the Aviattic Lozenge! ( Hopefully).

Somehow I missed this build. Great job as usually, mate, your long years of experience with wire and canvas are visible in every detail!

Cheers

This is lovely work, Rick! I learn a lot from your builds and this in no exception. Some lovely wood, fabric and metal tones help to make this a great interior ... Regards, Marc

That is one of the best interiors that I have seen in a long time. What a pity much of it will be invisible!! Simply first class modelling and a masterclass thrown in for all of us.

Steve, Ondra, Marc, and Stephen, Thanks to all for your comments.. some may be overgenerous but are greatly appreciated  ;D

Here is where I am now. The fuselage is together, all control wires and trigger wires were added to the interior. I have cut the Aviattic Lozenge to shape for application to the fuselage. So now back to the Fokker F1 and SE5a for a few days  ;)

Hi Rick
I am enjoying your build posts, thanks for sharing.
Here is a poor photo of one of TVAL's Fokker EVs which shows the openings in the fuselage top panel for ammo chutes. More like a Fokker DVII style than what Avis have provided? The WNW Fokker DVII kits come with spare top panels like this
Cheers

Glad to see this being built rather than languishing on the shelf. Looking good.
