Thanks all for looking in and commenting! Here is the last Photo for the weekend/ Vacation. I go back to work tonight. The basic wood effect has been applied to the cockpit sides upper fuselage and floor using Acrylic oils. Still some touch up needed. I obviously have the frames just sitting in their relative place on the fuselage sides.

Looking good!
Which reminds me not to forget painting the inside of the upper fuselage on my D.VII wood! :)

Hi,

as for the two-colour banded airframe in photo, I bought a coloured print from the late great Dan-San a few years ago (then intending to build the Avia kit) and it is E.V 137/18 of Vzfw. Karl Scharon, 2 Marine Feld Jagdstaffel, Jabbecke Airfield, August 1918. He shows it with 4-colour lozenge on fuselage, yellow cowling, wheel discs, horizontal tail surfaces, and S marking on fuselage sides and dorsum. Upper wing with olive green and reddish brown bands (from left to right: brown, olive, brown, olive), lower with light blue and purple in similar relationship (purple, blue, purple, blue). Rudder and fin white with latter with yellow vertical stripes.
Cheers
GrahamB

P.S. the stripe pattern on the fin according to D-S seems at odds with the photo though.

Thanks again Guys! Greatly appreciate the comments and support.  I received my WW1 German instruments from Airscale via Sprue Brotheres a couple of days ago. So now I have what I need to complete the interior. I also will use a couple from this sheet on my other builds meaning the Voss and Richthofen Triplanes.

Just catching up Rick. That interior with the lozenge and wood grain is stunning indeed. This is another of your very fine builds.

Stephen.

Looks great so far.  This is one of my want-to-build aircraft.  The varied wood grain effect on the flooring is especially nice!
