HpH - H.P. O/400 kit
« on: February 02, 2017, 09:32:57 PM »
This HpH thread on the 'Large Scale Planes' forum mentions the company is going to produce a 1/32 H.P. O/400 kit.

(the last post on the page by Vulcan32)

A later message says they sorting out the 'basic parts' for it.

Good grief! I had better start work on the extension if I'm ever to house one.

Best wishes

Fear not, there was mention in the thread that a folded wing configuration could be an option in the kit.

This would be a kit well worth waiting for.

At the other end of the 'speed range' - HpH are preparing a 1/32 scale Lockheed SR-71 kit. The wingspan won't be the problem but the 1 metre length may be  ;)

Yeah... I know next to nothing about the Aviatik Berg but wow that hex camo is something else - very curious if HPH provides a solution for it (decals? masks?) or if the modeler is on their own....

That's exactly the sad thing (to me, at least): We know all and everything about "Mustang, Spitfire, Messerschmitt" and Fokker, as well as all and everything about the fierce battles in and for the trenches on the Western Front, but close to nothing about the "rest" of the so called Great War. And why? Because we are well satisfied with what we are offered, Fokkers and Sopwiths boldly fighting over the trenches of the Western Front. There we get all we want: Bravery, tension and a bit of tragedy! Are we historians? Do we want to know reasons for the facts and fictions? No, we don't.
