Hello from Florida
« on: January 31, 2017, 01:03:23 AM »
 Hello all,
My name is Tom and Im new to the world of 1/32 scale WWI aircraft modelling so Im here to pick up tips and information. I have been into military modelling for many years but WWI is a recemt development which has come about probably from the Wingnut wings kits.
I am about to start an Encore Models Albatros DII so I will be posting and researching on this forum pretty soon.

Hello Tom,

Welcome.

Time spent having a browse through the 'under construction' threads both old & recent will be enjoyable & very educational.

I've been on the forum a while now but I still keep coming across all sorts of great stuff from the 'archives'.

Regards
Russell

Hi Tom,
welcome and enjoy the forum. I am sure you will love it!
The Encore/Roden Albatros D I(I) was my first 1/32 scale kit too! It's a great kit and a joy to build. have fun with it!
(Maybe you find some hints or things to avoid here: http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=7155.0)

Welcome to the Forum from a Former Floridian who VERY HAPPILY resides in the NC Mountains  ;D Like others have said the Build threads both Old and New are Gems of info and tips! I think there is at least one if not more build threads on the Encore DII. If not I am sure there are threads on the Roden DI and DIII that will help. I am looking forward to your participation!
