Jorg - This is amazing work. I really like the subtle paint shifts between the metal work and the other fabric. I keep hovering over "add to cart" on CSM for this kit - you may have helped me push the button.

Hi, friends,

the rigging begins...

some of the materials I use to work with (Albion Alloys brass tube 0.4mm o.d, 0.2mm i.d., sewing thread etc.)

it´s better to fasten most of the rigging before attaching the upper wing

Cheers,

Jörg

Whooof, Jörg. What a fiddly rigging. Very well done. Respect! You're a non-smoker I see ;)

Outstanding progress! It looks to be complicated but you are handling things with your usual ease!

Thank you for your kind words!
Edgar, the metal sheets are much brighter in reality than it appears on the fotos, they are from the PE sheet without any painting  ;)

Oh, Jörg.
What can I say? So brilliant build. I love the rigging on the wings. The tailplane with its subtile pinwash and the variation of the overall colours is just great.

Spectacular progress, Jorg. Watching this build makes me regret this model is not released in my scale.

But Prez, you have done models in 1/72 also, so is a venture into 1/48 so foreign to work your magic ?

Jorg I really like your work!
The only thing I would change is the size of the turnbuckles - they are way too big for 1/48 th scale. Try using the cotton buds tubes - they are also a way easier to work with  ;) The oil pulsators are great!
Best regards
Filip

Hello Jörg,
first of all I like very much the way you painted the pilot nacelle, the rain effect is great and i will perhaps try to copy you...
oil level are great too as the  "shinethrough" effect. i didn't decide anything yt in mine about this, i have to see more pictures...
Can you tell me more about the roundels? was they hard to install? where have had you to cut them?
last thing , I agree with Xmald about the turnbuckles and will use cotton tube (advantage to be the third one ;-)  )
good continuation!
