Thank you, everybody.

Winter holidays and impatient wait for the decals ordered again at Melius Manu have slowed down the progress on this build. But before going to lovely Madeira Island and just after return I managed to go as far as possible without the markings decals applied. Paint, shading, wash, some basic rigging (u/c and tail minus rudder) brought me to this stage.

The upper wing put on cabane struts only for show

And main struts and propeller (this from Roden kit) basically ready

Very impressive update Prze, just beautiful work thus far! The overall improvements to the interior and remarkably finished basic components are a compliment to your modeling skills, your work never fails to impress!
Cheers,
Lance

Thank you for the kind words.
Well, the wait for the decals goes on. So I completed the work under the centrewing including an unusual layout of the Aldis(?) sight (visible in the archive photo). And then started working on Roden's Viper. The main body is similarly arranged as in WNW's Hisso but the intake manifold with carbs and air filter consist of 9 elements instead of one. Also magnetos have to be assembled - each from 4 bits plus added 8 electric wires apiece.

Thanks, Gary, Rick and Jeroen.

The work on Viper goes on. The cables connected, the pipes attached, when the glue sets I will try to squeeze it all into the nose, but I expect some problems with space, the plumbing from Roden may not fit into the WNW framing. But for a moment I leave it and enjoy the sight. :-) And yes, there is a breather still missing, just realized it.

Your Engine is as awesome as the rest of the build! Hoping it all fits in so you do not lose any of that great detail!
