Outstanding in every aspect, Andreas! I wish I could reach that level when  building an Albi B II

Highest regards

Thank you all very much for your positive comments!

Now she's almost done

She just needs her rigging painted and some small details and touch ups here and there.
As a first resume I can really say that I enjoyed this great kit with its incredible level of detail and engineering quality. Everything from start to the end fit wonderfully and all the flaws that are visible are on my own.

But yes, Russel, I'd highly recommend to replace the thin plastic struts with brass rod. I am sure I'll never build an 1/32 biplane with anything else but brass rod when the original had those thin metal struts. Thick wooden ones are another story.
More (and hopefully better) pics soon in the "completed" section when I finished her base and aircrew....

Looks amazing. And evokes that special feeling - wood, linen and the oil-fuel smell from the bare engine. WW1 aircraft modelling at its highest!

That is a real winner Andreas. A winner of a build log too - so informative and helpful.

Andreas, that is an inspired and beautiful piece of modelling! I spite of a really great build log, I don't think I could ever do anything as perfect! But it is an inspiration, and shows us all what can be done! Lovely! Regards, Marc

It's beautiful, Borsos.  Surely it will be inspiration #1 for me when I try to build this.
