thank you very much for your kind comments, they are really appreciated! It's quite a while now since I had been on this but now I felt the need to go on with them. My next step was the Mercedes D II engines. The fit is a dream. on my engine I used the aftermarked resin parts from Taurus. Painting was done with the use of Uschi van der Rostens metallic polishable pigments shot with the airbrush (cool stuff!).
That's the progress so far, but sadly I had to realize that I run out of spark plugs.... So bearing the 30% discount in mind I ordered immediately some more parts for future projects at Taurus'. Of course, these engines would look fine without these aftermarket parts, but it's a joy to use them and as the kit didn't make any chalenges until now I have to look for another way to make my life difficult - some tiny tiny resin parts....
