Thank you very much for your kind comments!

The fuselages are closed now, primed, polished and ready for the wood procedure.

Everything went flawlessly, although it's a tight fit. I recommend not to spray too many layers of paint onto the interior.
Best wishes

Looking gooood so far! But i wonder, will there ever be a modeller making the not so challenging, but nonetheless beautiful version with all the wooden parts of the fuselage painted in heavenly light blue? I fear not, as this more likely is an offering for the lesser skilled modellers, who are not to be found here on this forum. Right?

Hello folks,

thank you very much for your kind comments.

I am slowly making progress with both fuselages. Preshading and painting for the wood decals...

and starting adding "wood"

Looking gooood so far! But i wonder, will there ever be a modeller making the not so challenging, but nonetheless beautiful version with all the wooden parts of the fuselage painted in heavenly light blue? I fear not, as this more likely is an offering for the lesser skilled modellers, who are not to be found here on this forum. Right?

I personally love these wooden finishes, but you are right, Richard, the light blue finish is really pretty and would deserve more attention.
Best wishes

Incredible job on the wood paneling, the pre shading has paid off.  Looking forward to your next post.

That wood is wonderful. I think though that I would go for the light blue……..(something to do with my painting skills - or lack of them!)
