You have made great progress. The open rear fuselage and inspection panels on the wings came out great!

As always I`m late... Both the cockpit and the engine are looking very good. The PE in the Profi version of the kit isn` t that impressive at all, and I like your work much. Is it THIS engine or have you used some other one??

Hi,
No Filip it is not THAT engine:) this one is from the box.
Here comes the painting
I have implemented first layer just to emphasize the wood structure of the plane. It is not well visible but the cockpit top area was painted brown as the base

then put the second layer –little darker than previous once

at last used some filters to be more reminiscent of real effect

now have to handle the bottom

Hi,
Being out with modelling for some time due my kids illnesses, which started together with beginning of school time, did some little steps forward specially with painting.
I put vallejo silver layer then used Uschi powders and decided to make more reminiscent to those peculiar rude cowling appearance visible on some pics available. I took the piece of fabric from old table cloth and did several finger pushes.

I am not quite sure this bottom part but it was done in the line with Eduard’s manual. Does anybody have any idea if the metal parts should be implemented till the end of bottom wings end, pls let me know.

did some shading on the wings as well

the engine is done

I suspect it ends well before the trailing edge of the wings.
Yes, all Tripes I have seen on the web have likewise. I thought that because of skis I could been little different
Let’s move on with this assembly. The undercarriage is done and positioned to fix the holes

Somebody asked for the skis, so finally I managed them
