Thanks for your nice comments, Martin and Rick!

Now for the most entertaining part of the build... Well, not really, but it is not as boring as it looks. :)

Cheers

Outstanding work on the wing, Ondra!  This build is really getting exciting.

Very good work on the wing, Ondra.  What are you using for the wing tapes?
Really interesting build, my friend.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thanks for your comments, Bud, Des and Ernie, they are highly appreciated!

@Ernie: the rib tapes are made of stretched sprue glued on the wing with Tamiya extra thin.

I continued with the work on the cockpit interior and added a few details. Very little will remain visible once the fuselage is closed, so I did not invest more effort than necessary and some elements have been even omitted. But all in all I am quite satisfied with the result. Anyway more details will be added like the seatbelts, steering stick and flare gun + ammo drum rack on the floor.

I hope to turn this into the steering stick some day. :)

Cheers

I know the scale, and understand how small that is, but then I see that final shot with the control stick between your finger tips and it still catches me off guard!  Amazing.

Thanks for looking in and leaving such nice comments, Martin, Des, Chris and Ernie!

In between working on the wings ribs, I added a few details to the cockpit, the fuselage is now ready for closing.

I am not very happy about the seat belts, they do not look the part on the photos. Tomorrow I will give them another try.

Cheers

I started working on the fuselage underside, not perfect yet, but all in all it looks promising.

Good work, Ondra.  In the last photo, I am struck by the miniscule
size of the model...my hat's off to your abilities to work so well in
that scale, my friend!  Looking forward to the next installment. :D

Ernie :)

Many thanks, Ernie and Martin, for following this build and leaving such nice comments, they are highly appreciated!

Unfortunately I realized I had made a huuuuge mistake on the fuselage bottom as I made the opening behind the engine section inverted - the round side was on the front. Fixed now. :)

I started preparing the fuselage front for the radiators:

And made the first attempt on the upper side of the fuselage behind the cockpit, will see, what it turns out after a coat of primer:

Hope to show more progress soon.

Cheers

Ondra
