Alfred Metzger - American pilot in France
« on: February 26, 2016, 12:24:08 PM »
Alfred Metzger was from New Jersey, went with the AEF in 1917. He was a great friend of my grandfather and sent these snapshots to him. He was killed in an accidental crash in 1918, and a shot someone took of the wreckage is included. Mostly training images here, Caudrons, Nieuports, Breguets.
