The sample PE sets arrived very well packed, they were placed between layers of card to protect
them from any transit damage. There are two sheets with each set, the main larger sheet and the
smaller version sheet. The different versions are;

1001 - Fokker built early
1002 - Fokker built late
1003 - O.A.W. built mid
1004 - O.A.W. built late
1005 - Albatros built early
1006 - Albatros built late
2001 - Common sheet for all versions

As can be seen by the list, a comprehensive range of Fokker D.VII types are covered.

The first image illustrates what is included with each set. There is the large and very comprehensive
common sheet then the smaller sheet which covers the individual version.

As I said earlier, the large sheet is very comprehensive and has extremely well detailed parts,
some of the parts are very small so will require care when handling and fitting.

The following four images show the detail that is incorporated in this PE sheet, it is a large
sheet and contains an enormous number of individual parts.

This is sheet 1001 which pertains to the Fokker built, early version, this sheet is included
with the larger common sheet.

Sheet number 1002 which covers the Fokker built late version, note the extremely clean and
smooth adges of the photo etching.

Sheet number 1003 is for the O.A.W. built mid version of the Fokker D.VII, again this sheet
is included with the larger common sheet.

The following three images show sheet numbers 1004, 1005 and 1006 which include the O.A.W.
late and the Albatros built early and late versions, all sets come with the larger common sheet.

Conclusion

This set is extremely well thought out and includes everything that is needed to super detail your
1:48 scale Fokker D.VII. The parts are highly detailed, very finely etched with smooth clean edges.
This is a must have set for those who like to add that extra amount of detail, some of the parts are
very small and will require care when removing them from the fret and fitting them to your model.
Let me add that the photos do not do justice to this amazing PE set, all parts regardless of their
size are perfectly etched.

Verdict

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
