Phönix 20.16 (1/48)
« on: February 06, 2015, 08:22:05 AM »
Hi all,

I propose to you the construction of a new scratch build of an  Austro-Hungarian prototype: the Phönix 40.16.

The Phönix 20.16 mated a  modified fuselage of the Hansa-Brandenburg D I (serie 28)  with a new wings.

I show you the different stages of construction until now.

The fuselage is recovered from a HB D. I Sierra vacuform. It is highly modified ...

Wings:

Fuselage:

cockpit:

I painted a "negative" of the PE of HB DI Eduard:

The start of the paint:

Your comments and criticisms will be appreciated. I hope this project will interest you!  :)

A bientôt

Arnaud

Yeah, I saw that, Arnaud!  Man, you are one prolific modeler.  Looking forward to seeing both of these beauties finished.
Cheers,
