One more from Old Rheinbeck
« on: September 28, 2014, 03:28:52 PM »
Ken has a great set of pictures from Old Rheinbeck up already, but I thought I'd add a few more shots from a recent trip to the Aerodrome.  Since the restored D.Va didn't seem to be out when Ken visited, I'll start with those:

The Albatros is finished in Walter Böning's Jasta 76b livery, which is included in the Wingnut decal set, "The Bavarians".  It is quite lovely to see.

Here are a few random subjects:

That last one is in honor of the DVII Group Build, and Taurus' recently released Fokker cowl nuts.  There are more pictures on my Photobucket gallery which should be viewable for those who are interested (and quite a few more on my computer).   Quite an enjoyable afternoon.

Thanks Dave. The shots of the business end of the Bavariab Albie, in particular, are very useful.

Best wishes

Very nice photos Chris. I can see why you'd judge it "quite an enjoyable afternoon", it would work for me! That DVa is magnificent, the air shots spectacular. Thanks for sharing this.
Cheers,
Lance
