German handheld aerial camera (lots of colour images)

Saw this over on ebay, nice colour reference photos

Perfect as a detailed painting guide for the WNW German cameras

"It comes with a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar f4.5 25cm Fliegertruppe lens. The camera displays great and has its removeable ICA magazine plate holder. The lens unscrews easily from the camera. The front and back glass is clean and clear. When you hold the lens up to the light there is internal haze and dust particals. The diaphragm works fine. The camera has a flip up filter. I have not tested the operation of the focal plane shutter. When I press down on the main lever the inside doors open up. The viewfinder flips up and down. The strap is original but has broken near the top. On the magazine there is a small piece missing at the corner which can be seen in the pictures. The magazine has a wood tambour door. I have not tried to operate or open the magazine but it is heavy and feels like the plate holders are in it. The plate size seems to be approx 13x18cm."

Oh James, you keep finding photos of great stuff to share with us! There's now no excuse when it comes to my starting a German two seater operating with this sort of camera.

Best wishes
Nigel
