Tom's Modelworks Pfalz D.IIIa 1/48
« on: August 25, 2014, 10:53:03 AM »
With the SSW coming close to an end . I always seem to have at least one detailing project on the go while most others are out of the box ( mostly )

Gregory sent me this kit a few years back with a couple of others . He would bug me every now and then on starting this project . But never seemed to have the time on getting the kit started .

The Eduard parts are the spares in their dual limited Pfalz D.III . The wing root area on the vac kit is totally wrong and needed to be corrected . Top wing I will use it's pretty close to Eduards with wing rib s and such , every thing else will be left over parts or scratch built .

More as I get going on this one .

Terri,
I am looking forward to this one! I once owned one of those kits, and also the resin version Never got around to building them before I chucked them after Edward released theirs... :-[

This will be really interesting to follow Terri, and a welcome breathe of originality. Good luck with it.

Best wishes

a Vac model, very informative build.  Looking forward to the "lessons". :)
