Hello All,

I'm finally getting round to ordering some drills and, at this stage, am mainly concerned to deepen the rigging location points on WNW kits to snugly accommodate Bob's Buckles eyelets. Does anyone have any recommended drill size for this purpose?

Best wishes
Nigel

The three most common sizes I use are 0.3mm, 0.4mm and 0.5mm, the 0.4mm is very useful for enlarging the holes in the Wingnut kits.

Nigel, I usually use the 0.3mm size for VonBob's eyelets. :D

Cheers,
Ernie :)

I'm not sure what size would be best for that, but make sure you get / use a pin vise like the one they sell - it will save many drill bits!
So true. I got an order of bits – wonderful little bits they are too – and promptly broke two. So, I did what I should have done initially, ordered their pin vise. And a couple more packs of bits. OUtstanding stuff!

Being carbide drill bits they are brittle and can break very easily, but they are extremely sharp and when used with care will last a long time.

Des, I will be stocking up again very soon. I just wanted to try them out before obtaining a larger size range and quantity. Many thanks for getting this deal for the members here.

Hello Steve, I have sent you an email with the contact details for Drill bits Unlimited, Jason is a really nice guy and will help you out. Unfortunately I am not allowed to get involved in disputes between suppliers and customers and as per the forum rules any disputes are not to be aired on the forum but are to be resolved between the two parties.
