Arrived today from HPH. The parcel only left the Czech Republic on Monday and was delivered to me here in Australia by FedEx today, Friday, fantastic service.

Yeah that circle cutter looks awesome - can you please share who you purchased it from or a link? Thanks!

Oops sorry. I got mine through a new online store in the US. http://shadowhobby.com/tlcc-000-thinnerline-circle-cutter.html
Its not a bad price but with the extra blades and shipping and exchange it became expensive.
The ruler on it isnt the best so some experimentation will be needed to make the proper size mask. Still its well made and makes cuts that I have never been able to do before.

Hi James,
You should be able to save on the cost of blades in the future if you look for 'Roland' blades on eBay. They look very similar to what came with your circle cutter and can be found a whole heap cheaper than $10 for one blade.

Cheers,
vB

Thanks Bob. The blades were 3 for $10 but I cant see needing any more. I will check the place you mentioned though. I think my Son in Law is making a wood box for this and the blades for me to keep it in.

James,

If you don't mind me asking how much did the Berg cost and where did you purchase it from?

Thanks,
Mike

Bob, that acrylic retarded is my latest 'secret weapon' for great finishes! It works like a charm, I throw it in everything, even Clear! Use with abandon... Regards, Marc

Really digging the Mr Paint - have already tried the CDL and PC10 - it is very thin out of the bottle and takes several coats to build up but goes on super smooth. I really like the PC10 color as well (I know that is subjective but it looks great to me....)

my latest is my first World War One kit since i was a kid... the 1/32 Encore/Roden McCudden SE5a.

that Mr. Paint PC-10 looks like exactly a color that could have one guy swearing it's green and another swearing it's brown, and neither would be wrong, at least as far as i can tell from a photo on the internet.

also it looks like a color that could be made from "yellow ochre (40 lbs), umber (30 lbs), red ochre (40 oz), Chinese blue (25 oz for darkening) and lampblack ("few ounces" only where further darkening was required)," as far as i know the only documented official PC-10 formula.

I'll probably give it a try.

I have started buying a collection of the MRP Paints, I have heard good reports about this paint, luckily I can buy it from one of our local hobby shops, BNA Model World in Victoria.

Another delivery this morning this time the 1:32 scale Special Hobby Morane Saulnier Type N, I have built this kit before but decided to grab another one, they are getting difficult to obtain so I purchased this one from one of our forum members.

I received these two kits today, they were on special at Metro Hobbies in Melbourne so I thought it a good opportunity to grab 2 of them, postage was free so that was an added bonus.
